FBLA Members Advance to State

This week, 47 students from STA competed in a variety of events at the Future Business Leaders of America competition, with 19 advancing to state competition in April.

Senior Georgia K. took first place in Business Writing, junior Anna M. took first in Organizational Leadership, and three students – juniors Lauren S., Abigail T. and Ellie C. – earned first place in Broadcast Journalism. The stars also brought home numerous second- through fifth-place awards, all advancing to state, plus one wild card student who will advance. Wild cards are granted to students that score very high in an event statewide but did not place in the top five of their district because we are a large and competitive district.
