From a multicultural perspective, we teach our students the value of including diverse voices within and outside of our classrooms. STA values and embraces a racially, culturally, ethnically, geographically and economically diverse student body and community. Our students actively engage in the wider world, inquire about the inequities they encounter and seek opportunities to build a more just society. Each student is challenged, encouraged and supported to achieve her highest level of knowledge through the development of their communication skills, awareness, character, determination and desire to pursue lifelong learning.
